JoAnne M Wenke

JoAnne M. Wenke, age 91, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Milwaukee at Autumn Lake Health Care. JoAnne was born in Milwaukee to Herchel & Gladys (Jacobson) Zophy on December 21, 1930. She worked as a supervisor at the JC Penny distribution center in Milwaukee for over 30 years. JoAnne is survived by her son – Michael (Joyce) Wenke of Harshaw; grandchildren – Lucas (Jenny) Wenke of West Allis and Allison Wenke of West Allis. She is further survived by her brother – Ron Zophy of Louisville and niece and nephew – Alan and Ann-Marie Zophy. JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law – Barbara and grandson – Matthew Wenke. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
