Joseph "Ole" Weinzatl, age 86 of Prentice, WI passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Aspirus Regency House in Phillips, WI.  Ole was born on October 21, 1938 in Ogema, WI the son of Leo and Margaret (nee Hunziker) Weinzatl.

He attended school in Prentice, and after worked for Kramer and Sons Construction. Ole was involved with the Union Engineers Local 139. He loved to go fishing, hunting and ride ATV’s. 

Ole was married to Lois Graenberg until 1960 and then married Patricia Budzinski in 1969. Ole had 7 children: Jack (Jennifer), Jeff (Lori), Brian (Dawn), Timothy (Sandy), Dawn (Scott), Joseph Jr., Jodi (Brian); he had 15 siblings: Doris, George, Robert, Gerald, Sharon, Patricia, Elizabeth, Ronald, Linda, Deborah, Donald, James, Kenneth, Shelia; he had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friend, who he adored.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Phillips, WI with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow the services.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ole’s honor can be made to the Regency House Phillips, WI or Aspirus Hospice in Medford, WI.
