Katherine Dahl

Katherine Dahl, age 93, formerly of Tomahawk, died December 31, 2009 at Bell Tower Residence in Merrill, where she had lived for the past 8 years. Katherine was born June 27, 1916, the daughter of Edward and Mary Krieg. She married Edward Dahl on June 1938 in Tomahawk. Katherine was an executive secretary with Owens-Illinois in Tomahawk, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: Sister Frances Anderson Tomahawk Brother Charles (Patricia) Hanson Verona Katherine is further survived by a nephew - Sever Anderson, and 2 nieces - Sharon (William) Handy and Gail (Chris) Zoppa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Edward in 1991, brother George Krieg and sister Evelyn Rathke. Funeral Services for Katherine Dahl will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. William Handy will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials are appreciated to Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services, Bell Tower Huss Fund, or Grace Lutheran Church.
