Kathleen Mary Eternicka

Kathleen (Katie) Eternicka, age 74, passed away on the morning of June 30, 2023. Katie had been living in Merrill, Wisconsin for the last 5 years after having spent the rest of her life as a resident of Woodruff, WI. She spent the majority of her life working at various banks in the Minocqua/Woodruff area and a short time at Ritchie Oil. Katie’s great loves were her dogs, her family’s pets, vacations out West, and watching her nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews grow up. Katie’s life was all about her family and her pets.

            Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Eternicka; parents, Tom & Rita Oxley; sister, Anietta (Robert) Allen; in-laws, Anton and Adrienne Eternicka, and her many beloved dogs. She is survived by her sisters, Diana (Robert)Kirschling and Lauriel Oxley Arneson; brother-in-law, Robert Allen; and many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 12^th at Evergreen Cemetery off Hwy J in Woodruff, Wisconsin. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter/human society in her name.
