Lillian Durkes

Lillian Grace Durkes, 13 months, Tomahawk, passed away March 17, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield following an automobile accident in Marathon County. Lilly was born February 19, 2008 in Janesville. Survivors include: Parents Dr. Shane & Tara Durkes Tomahawk Sister Sophia Durkes at home Maternal grandparents Tony & Cathy Vicknair Scott, Louisiana Paternal grandparents Ronald & Cheryl Durkes Ponchatoula, Louisiana Maternal great grandparents Tookie & Cleo Banquer Marrero, Louisiana Aunt Stacey Robichaux Cousins Tyler Vicknair & Chase Robichaux Lilly is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal uncle - Todd Vicknair. A Funeral Mass for Lilly Durkes will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Lilly's name.
