Louis Robert Bubenic

Louis Bubenic, 87, of Phillips passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Park Manor in Park Falls, WI. He was born on May 22, 1935, to Louis SR. and Marie (Dusek) Bubenic in the Town of Emery, WI.

He married the love of his life, Dorothy Ernst, on May 31, 1958. He was a logger, farmer, and worked for Dusek’s LP Gas. He developed Hilly Haven Mobile Home Court.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children Bonny (Duane) Grube, Linda (Dan) Patrie, grandchildren, Danny Patrie, Sheri (Troy) Myher, Brad (Stacy) Meskill, Mike Patrie, Valerie (Johnny) Meskill; great-grandsons, Brandon Myher, Owen and Rolan Meskill.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 26^th, 2023, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 655 S Lake Ave, Phillips, WI 54555. Visitation will start at 2 p.m. and continue until the start of service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Town of Emery. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
