Magdalene Helen Krucky

Helen Krucky, age 96, born Magdalene “Helen” Kaufman, on June 24, 1928, to Herbert and Martha (Hartman) Kaufman. Helen was a life-time resident of, Town of Worcester, Phillips, WI died on June 18, 2025, at the Colonial Health & Rehabilitation of Colby.

After graduating from Phillips Highs School, she married James Krucky on May 31, 1947. They had 4 children: Sally Hill, Charles (Mary Beth Malm) Krucky, Janet (James Johnson) Krucky and Daniel (Noel Sonnek) Krucky. She has 3 grandchildren; Harvey Hill, Paul (Nikie) Hill and Rachel (Scott) Coe and 2 great grandchildren; Addison & Zane. She worked for many years at the Phillips Café, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, word search puzzles, fishing, motorcycling and knitting. She knitted MANY mittens, socks and baby caps which she donated to local hospitals & charities.

Helen was preceded by her husband James; her parents, brother Bernard, sister Regina; and many other relatives. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Diane Karpinski and many other special relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Hospice people of St. Croix Hospice of Marshfield. The amazing staff of Colonial Health & Rehabilitation of Colby and Duroy Terrace in Phillips.

Funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 11:00 am at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00 am till time of service. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
