Mardelle "Mardi" Sachse

Mardelle "Mardi" Sachse, age 75 of Harshaw, WI passed away on Wednesday, June 25th at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. Mardi was born on August 9, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Edward and Shirley (nee Japp) Kluender. She married Paul Sachse on May 25, 1968. She graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a hair dresser for many years and then as an accountant.

Mardi enjoyed traveling, cooking, swimming, being outdoors and just spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend for 57 years Paul Sachse and by her daughters Paulette (Loren) Galati and Jennifer (Keith Tesch) Sachse and by granddaughter Sara Galati and by her sister Karen (Richard) Hunter and her cousins Jeff (Kathy) Kluender, Sharon (Keith) Flintrop, nephews David, Steve and Eric Armbruster, Perry Carron, Jesse (Kristina) Carron, nieces Jill (Chuck Jinkins) Armbruster, Beth (Dave) Storms, Lea Ann (Jeff) Bleck and Kris (John) Birky.

Mardi was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Shirley Kluender; her in laws Paul and Viola Sachse and by Jim Ackatz, Gary Ackatz, Edgar and Phyllis Armbruster and Tom Carron.

Memorial Gathering for Mardi will be held on Saturday, August 2nd from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel with a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm followed by a reception at the funeral home fellowship hall.

Mardi's family would like to thank and send their gratitude to the staff at Aspirus Hospital of Wausau and Rhinelander. All the Doctors, ICU nurses, and even the cleaning ladies who prayed with us.
