Much of Marguerites’ career was being a secretary. She was the secretary to the administrator of the Bensenville Home Society. She enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, camping, and tobogganing. Marguerite was very artistic, enjoying crafts such as sewing, crochet and toll painting. A couple of fun facts are that she was named "Woman of the Year" in her community and fought the expansion of O'Hare Airport.

Marguerite was very involved in church life. She led plays, skits, sang in the choir, taught church school classes, and later started the Senior Ministry. After moving to St. Germain, Wisconsin, she was again instrumental in starting a Senior Ministry at Northlife Church.

Marguerite loved spending time with family, playing Aggravation, cards, and other games. She was a champion Scrabble Player, being challenged by family and friends.

Marguerite set an example of how to share God's gifts and love, encouraging others, taking families in for months at a time, helping wherever she could and she loved the Lord!
