Marie A. Cox, age 83, 428 N. 6th Street, Tomahawk, passed away July 29, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Marie was born August 1, 1923 in Chicago to John and Hilda (Evertson) Vernick. She married Kenneth Cox On August 6, 1948 in Chicago; he passed away on January 22, 1990. Marie retired to Tomahawk from Elgin, Illinois. Survivors include: 3 Sons Russell (Kathy) Cox of Las Vegas, Nevada Donald (Sue) Cox of Avon Lake, Ohio Jeffrey (Teri) Cox of Round Lake, Illinois Marie is further survived by 5 grandchildren - Todd (Chris),Nicole, Michael, Krystal, and Courtney, and 2 great grandchildren - Jessica and Kevin. No services will be held.
