Marion Welke

Marion Selmer-Welke, age 82, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Riverview Health Services. Marion was born on June 19, 1940 in Tomahawk to Arthur & Violet (Cherny) Koskela. She was married to Benny Selmer and together, they had two sons. Benny passed away in 1987. They owned and operated Selmer Cottages on Deer Lake for many years. She also worked at the Jack Pine Fire Tower. Marion was married to Harry Welke on March 14, 1989 in Las Vegas,he preceded her in death in 2013. Marion loved pool league, camping, spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Marion is survived by her children – Roger Selmer & Toby (Jodi) Selmer, both of Tomahawk; her sister – Margie (Fritz) Jach of Tomahawk; her brother- Art (Joanne) Kosklea of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren – Sienna and Cody (Erin) Braker; great grandchildren – Bentley, Brooklyn and Bristol; and further survived by the Welke Family. She is preceded in death by her husband and son – Danny. The Funeral Service for Marion Welke will take place at 11:00AM on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
