Marjorie Joan Drogsvold went to be with Jesus in her Heavenly home on June 15, 2026 at the age of 102 years., Marjorie was born April 19, 1924 in Cottage Grove, WI, the daughter of John and Leona (Doleshal) Fredenberg. She was united in marriage to Leonard Drogsvold on July 6, 1940. He preceded her in death October 2, 1995.

Marjorie retired from Rayovac in Madison in 1986 after 43 years of service. Her and Leonard bought a cottage on Lake Alice in 1953. Over the years they made it into a cozy home where they enjoyed their retirement years starting in 1986. They both enjoyed the view of the water and pontooning with family when they came up for visits. She loved her Boston Terriers, sewing her yo-yo’s and puttering in her yard. Most of all her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis Firehammer of Tomahawk; brother, John Fredenberg, Sun Prairie; grandchildren, Ronda (Art) Cates; Kyle (Bob) Plouhar; Michael Firehammer and granddaughter-in-law, Debra Firehammer; great-grandchildren, Jerry (Amanda), Lee (Amber), Kasey (Matt), Allison (Jay), Taylor (Marisa), Aron, Alex (Brittany), Madelyn (Matthew), Devon, Eric, Gunnar, Elizabeth (Mason), Kayla (Keegan), and Courtney; great-great-grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Jack, Clare, Celine, Anna, Ella, Hattie, Chloe, Charlie, Madalyn, Adelle, Nataly, Dane, Molly, James, Amelia, Ezra, and Jackson and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; son-in-law, Robert Firehammer Sr.; grandson, Robert Firehammer Jr.; grand-daughter-in-law, Bridget Firehammer; sisters, Lois Benisch, Eleanor Kowski, Ruth Rahn, and Dorothy Wagner; brothers, Glen, William and Henry.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Tomahawk, with Pastor Mark Gass officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Sunset Memory Garden, Madison, WI.
