Marjorie Klchosky

Marjorie Klchosky, 96, of Phillips passed away on August 31, 2023, in Marshfield, WI. She was born on May 26, 1927,  in Phillips, WI.

Marjorie spent her life in the Phillips area. She married Felix Klchosky November 1, 1947. They were happily married for 60 years. Felix affectionately spoke of her as “my bride”.  One of the most important events in her life was when she and Felix were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1959. For the rest of their lives they enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing Bible truths with their neighbors. When Marjorie could no longer do home visits, she spent many hours writing letters to reach out to as many as possible with a comforting message.
Marjorie had four daughters that she loved dearly, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her spiritual family in the congregation as well. She enjoyed showing hospitality when her health permitted. She was an excellent cook. One of the favorite family dishes was haluski, and for dessert she made kolaches. She enjoyed gardening and canning, sewing, knitting, crocheting and playing cards, especially smear.
She loved her hummingbirds and her dog, Little Girl. She enjoyed watching and feeding the songbirds at her feeder. She loved flowers and observing the natural beauty around her that she viewed as a gift from our Creator, Jehovah.

She is survived by her daughters, Kitty (Arthur) Besse, La Verne (John) Rondeau, Christine (Timothy) Hupf; her granddaughters Kelly (Michael) Siebold, Heather Besse; great grandchildren, Gray Siebold, Seren Siebold.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her father, Paul Detzel, her mother, Emma (Pletzke) Detzel ; husband, Felix; daughter, Janice Klchosky; by her brothers, Fred (Harriet) Detzel, Lawrence (Florence) Detzel, Lloyd (Ann) Flietner;  sisters, Leona (Ken) Hermanson, Margaret (Don) Eckoldt, Irene (Marty) Weinzinger; son-in-law, Arthur Besse.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
