Martha “Marty” Anne Keintz, 67, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at her home with family by her side. Marty was born February 16, 1959 in Wausau, the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Sneider) Clifford. She was united in marriage to Steven “Steve” Keintz on June 20, 1981 in Tomahawk.
Marty dedicated more than 40 years of her life to nursing, providing compassionate care to countless patients throughout her career. Marty worked at Sacred Heart Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to others.
Marty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Steve Keintz; her daughters, Megan Keintz, Tomahawk; and Dr. Mackenzie Keintz (Dr. Ben Arbeiter), Omaha; her cherished granddaughter, Leighton Arbeiter; and her beloved grand-dog, Crosby.
An active and energetic person throughout her life, Marty loved playing sports growing up, especially basketball and water skiing. It was through her enjoyment of water skiing that she met the love of her life, Steve, beginning a partnership filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories.
Marty found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading, tending to her garden, and spending time with family and friends. She was also a passionate supporter of Wisconsin sports and faithfully cheered on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers.
Those who knew Marty will remember her for her caring heart, her dedication to helping others, her love of family, and the warmth she brought to every room she entered. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched as a nurse, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, William “Bill”, Bruce, and Robert “Bob” Clifford.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Honoring Marty’s wishes, no service will be held.
