Mary Henderson, age 61, N11906 Deer Lake Road, Tomahawk, passed away December 4, 2007 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Mary was born October 5, 1946 in Racine to Edward and Cecelia Stindle. She married Robert Henderson on August 7, 1965 in Racine. Mary was raised in Racine, living most of her life in the Union Grove and Kansasville areas. She was a member of the Ive's Grove Homemaker's Club in Union Grove. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Racine, Union Grove, and Tomahawk. Mary will be remembered for the love, time, and tender care she gave to her husband Robert and their two children - Greg & Kim. Her extended family remembers times together at her home and the tasty, wonderful meals specially prepared by Mary. She treasured spending time with family and friends. She and Bob enjoyed bowling, golfing, snowmobiling, and gardening together. Mary also shared her husband's love for Green Bay Packer football. Any time of year, you could count on her door being open to friends and family alike. She was always willing to lend an ear and share in good conversation. Survivors include: Husband Bob Henderson of Tomahawk 1 Son Greg Henderson of Tomahawk 1 Daughter Kim Henderson of Tomahawk 1 Granddaughter Malessa Wightman of Kansasville 1 Brother Dennis Stindle of Lake Wells, Florida 1 Sister-in-law Joyce Stindle of Racine Father-in-law Alvin Henderson of Tomahawk Mary is further survived by a child very special to her heart - Brooke Swanson of Burlington, and a special niece - Shelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and her mother-in-law. Funeral Services for Mary Henderson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2007 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. John Miskimen will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
