Patricia "Pat" Frances Soward

Patricia “Pat” Frances Soward, 80, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side, on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Pat was born June 26, 1945, in Waukesha, WI and was the daughter of John and Roseland (Wiedenhoeft) Baran.

A spunky little lady and social butterfly, she enjoyed dancing, reading, and going out on the town and visiting the casinos with her great friends Beth, Bette, and Jan among many others-she loved having fun. In the summer and fall you could find her working outside or sitting on her front porch enjoying the fresh air. She enjoyed helping others and loved spending time with Linda, Craig, and adored and was so proud of her grandchildren, Rachael and Zach.

Surviving, her daughter, Linda (Craig) Souza Tyngsboro, MA; granddaughter, Rachael Souza and husband Jesus; grandson, Zachary; brother, Gary (Nancy) Baran, many nieces and nephews and former spouse Don Soward.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Allan Soward; sisters, Betty Hayes; Donna Trevorrow, Una Wilkens, and Bonnie Klatt; brothers, John, William, and Robert Baran.

Celebration of Life will be held late summer.
