Ray "Augie" M. Augustine

Raymond Michael Augustine “Augie”, 70, of Tomahawk and South Carolina passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital. Ray was born September 26, 1955 in Wausau, the son of Walter and Barbara (Gordon) Augustine. Raymond served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Rose Marie Bosze on January 17, 1975 in Bel-Air, Maryland.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Rose, daughter, Tammy (John) Stella, Lake Tomahawk; son, Timothy Augustine (Jamie Vassar), Pembine; 8 grandchildren, Carter, Hunter, Sophia, Cole, Sabrina, Corey, Austin, and Caleb; a sister, Linda (Mike) Jarnigan, Washington; brothers, Randy Augustine, South Caroline; Robin (Kay) Augustine, Rhinelander; and Russell (Anne) Augustine, Neillsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Mathein officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be held at Northwoods National Cemetery, Harshaw.
