Reverend Dr. Patrick Dean Shelley

Rev. Dr. Patrick D. Shelley, 74, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the County Terrace Assisted Living. Patrick was born November 24, 1951 in Kenosha, WI, the son of Donald and Ruth (Cogell) Shelley.

Growing up, Patrick was an accomplished musician playing piano and string bass. He was in the original “Kids from Wisconsin” and played in his college orchestra. But Patrick had the call to be a minister. Patrick attended George N. Tremper high School in Kenosha, Hope College in Holland, MI, Union Seminary in Richmond VA and University of Edinburgh Scotland. He served as Senior Minister at 3 Congregational Churches one in Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin. He traveled the world through the National Association of Congregational Churches promoting Congregationalism. Patrick’s love to help those in need kept him in the ministry. He was well loved and appreciated. Many will miss him.

Surviving Patrick are his sisters, Kathleen (Kenny) Paramore, Tomahawk; Carrie (Christopher) Woller, Merrill and his nieces/nephew, Lucy (Cody) Walker, Kelsey (Tyler) Jones, Sarah (Tony) Artymiuk, Matthew Woller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Jonathan Woller.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis & Wendy Mannering officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service.
