Richard & Betty Grunwald

Betty A. Grunwald, age 81 of Prentice, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 24th and her husband Richard L. Grunwald, age 81 passed away on Wednesday, February 25th.  Betty and Richard was surrounded by their family and exceptional care from St. Croix Hospice.

Betty was born on October 7, 1944 in Port Washington, WI the daughter of Harvey and Florence Jaeger and Richard was born on January 12, 1945 in Sheboygan, WI the son of Walter and Regina Grunwald.

They owned and operated Dicks Triangle Service in Pewaukee, WI and then owned and operated Riverview Terrace Mobile Home Park in Prentice. Betty also worked at many years at JC Penney's and then for Head Start Program in Prentice.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially bear hunting and riding his Harley, he was an HOG lifetime member and Betty enjoyed cooking, baking, and making wreaths and they both enjoyed going to auctions together.

Richard and Betty are survived by their children Deanna (Lanny) Thums and Jeff (Kim) Grunwald and by 2 grandchildren Chad and Savanah Grunwald and great granddaughter Everly Grunwald.  They are further survived by Richard's sister Carol Keller an Betty's sister Nancy Meinert and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and by Christopher and Sara Meinert and the entire bear camp.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Regina Grunwald and by 2 brothers Wally and William and Betty was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Florence Jaeger her sister Sally Jaeger and 2 brother in laws: Rex Meinert and Roger Uhlig.

Upon their wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
