Robert "Bob" L. Johnson

Robert “Bob”  L. Johnson, age 77, a resident of Arbor Vitae, WI, passed away on May 10, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born July 31, 1945, in Beloit, WI to parents Walter and Genevieve Johnson.  He married the love of his life Carol Ruth Grenawalt on June 6, 1963, in Rockford, IL. Bob worked for Fairbanks Morse as an Electrical Tester for 21 years before he and Carol started their own Property Rental/ Storage Business.  Bob was a jack of all trades and loved to keep busy working.  When he did get to relax, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, and waterskiing.  He also loved racing cars and building homes.  He was an Elder at St. John’s Lutheran Church when he lived in Beloit.  Bob and Carol wintered in Las Vegas, NV in these last few years. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Walt, Dick, Kenny, Russell, and sister: Beverly Ann Johnson.  He is survived by his loving wife: Carol Johnson of Arbor Vitae, WI; children: Judy (Jerry) May of Harshaw, WI, Bob Johnson of Wausau, WI; grandchildren: Chris (Jen) May of Pearson, WI, Joey (Chrissy) Molteni of Maryland, Jenny (Bill) Rudis of Rhinelander, WI, Brian Johnson of Sparta, WI, Kayla Johnson of West Salem, WI; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Peace Lutheran Church in Arbor Vitae, WI.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.  Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Arbor Vitae following services.
