Robert "Bobbo" J. Zimmerman, age 69, of Lake Tomahawk, WI, died Sunday, April 23, 2023.  Bob was born on October 7, 1953 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Chicago, Ill, the son of Robert and Dolores (Hamilton) Zimmerman.  After graduating from HL Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL, Bob enlisted in the Navy. He then worked as a truck driver. 

In 1983 Bob decided to move North to his families long time vacation destination of Lake Tomahawk, WI where he could enjoy his favorite hobbies, fishing and hunting. He also liked to garden.  Bob married the love of his life Mary Ann Brod on April 25, 1992. Bob enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and friends on his pontoon or fishing boat, in warm waters with cold drinks.

 Bob was preceded in death by his parents and Uncles: George and Dean Zimmerman.  He is survived by his loving wife: Mary Ann Zimmerman; children: Ashley (Kevin Larson) Brod, Robert Maxwell "Max" (Josie Graefe) Zimmerman; grandchildren: Emily Brod, Madeline Ratliff, Danielle Zimmerman, Anna Zimmerman, Ella Zimmerman, Riley Zimmerman; siblings: Donna (Ron) Rickman, Sue Fritche, John (Deb) Zimmerman and numerous other family and good friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 2:00 PM at the Lake Tomahawk Community Building.
