Robert “Bob” Olszewski, 79, of St. Germain, Wisconsin, died February 9, 2026, peacefully in his home. Bob was born on October 18, 1946, in Chicago and is survived by his three children, Melanie (Jody) Krause, Jonathan Olszweski, Michael Olszweski, and 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Jayson, Brandon and Kelsey.
Bob loved hockey and coached for many years in Illinois. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed taking his sons fishing in Wisconsin. In 2003, he made a permanent move to St. Germain, where he fished frequently and became an assistant manager at Peoples State Bank for over 15 years.
Bob loved showing visitors his two passions - you could count on him to put on records from his collection and demonstrate his HAM radio. He was a crossword puzzle enthusiast and an avid reader of the weekly newspaper and Stephen King books. His simple pleasure in life was a whopper with fries.
Stella, his beloved golden retriever, was spoiled rotten and loved dearly. She will miss him. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Olszewski, who passed in 1999.
Per his request, cremation has taken place, and a private gathering will be held at a later date.
