Roberta G. Halvorsen, 81, passed away peacefully in her home on November 26, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on December 31, 1943, to parents Robert and Margaret Luck. Roberta lived a remarkable life filled with hard work, creativity, adventure, and deep devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Halvor Halvorsen, with whom she shared many years of partnership, love, and determination. Together, they ran a dairy farm and raised horses before eventually moving to Prentice, where they began a new chapter of life.
Roberta had a passion for horses and spent many years showing them—an activity that brought her tremendous joy. She gave carriage rides, engraved headstones and was a Go-Go dancer. She was also an incredibly talented painter, known for her creativity and ability to capture beauty in her artwork. Never afraid to take on a challenge, she even spent several years driving a semi, embracing the open road and the independence that came with it.
Roberta loved to travel, explore, and experience new places. Her curiosity about the world and her adventurous spirit were matched only by her warm heart and quiet strength. Roberta was a kind person that made meaningful friendships throughout her life.
