Ruth J. Fennema, 96, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Riverview Health Services. Ruth was born April 1, 1929, the daughter of Martin and Hattie (Newendyke) DeHamer. She was united in marriage to Sidney Fennema on September 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary (Mario) Planera, Illinois; son, Mark (Judy) Fennema, Tomahawk; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sidney; and a brother Preston.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Aspirus Staff Annie and Sarah, and everyone at Riverview Health Services for their compassion and care of Ruth these past years.
Honoring Ruth’s wishes there will be no services.
