Sheila Rose Chapman

Sheila R. Chapman, age 61 of Lac du Flambeau, WI passed away on Wednesday, September 3rd at her residence. Sheila was born on January 18, 1964 in Woodruff, WI the daughter of Frank and Flossie Schuman. She graduated from Lakeland Union High School and worked at Peter Christensen Health Care since 1999. She married Scott Chapman Sr., on September 3, 1994; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2022.

Sheila enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching and watching her grandchildren in their extra curriculars.

She is survived by her partner Shawn Bialas, her children Santana (Michael Sr.) Maulson, Scott Chapman Jr., Frank Schuman and Shane Chapman and by grandchildren: Skye Chapman, Jackson Chapman, Grace-Ellen Chapman,  and Michael Maulson Jr..

Further survived by her siblings: Julia (Brian) Dionne, Fritz (Lisa) Schuman, Theresa Soulier and Candace (Scott) Leaman and by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband Scott Chapman Sr., her parents Flossie and Frank Schuman, sisters Leila Schuman and Bernita LaBarge and her infant son Joseph Frank Schuman-Wildcat.

Traditional Native American Services will be held on Saturday, September 6th starting at 4:00 pm at the Multi-Purpose Building and continue Sunday, September 7th with burial at Memorial Cemetery.
