Shirley Ann Maney

Shirley Ann Maney, 85, of Tomahawk, WI passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Country Terrace Assisted Living with her family by her side. Shirley was born June 8, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Grimm) Moe. She graduated from Washington High School, in Milwaukee, in 1958. She was united in marriage, in August of 1958, in Milwaukee to Jerome “Jerry” Maney. They raised 4 children in the Milwaukee area and retired to Tomahawk in 1995. She worked at the Oak Creek Pictorial, and then at the Tomahawk Leader as a mail clerk.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Jackie Firkus (Doug Beals), Tomahawk; Judy (Dan) Bauman, Tomahawk; Janet (Bob) Walsh, Tomahawk; son, John Maney (Ann Van Kampen), Racine; 4 grandchildren, Megan, Amanda, Melissa and Andrew; 3 great-grandchildren, Addison, Audrey and Owen; sister, Marjorie Dunn, Waukesha.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 59 years, Jerry.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home, Tomahawk with Pastor Dennis and Wendy Mannering officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd from 4 to 7 and again from Wednesday, September 3rd from 10 to time of service at 11:00 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home.
