Stacy R. Schiltz, 52, passed away at her home on US Hwy 8, Sunday, August 17, 2025 surrounded by her family.  Stacy was born July 9, 1973 in Tomahawk to William R. and the late Isabel (Camacho) Schiltz. She had attended Tomahawk Schools and attended UW Stevens Point earning a Master’s in Special Education. She later earned a second Master’s in Autism. Stacy student taught in Tomahawk, substitute taught in Lac du flambeau before moving to Arizona for 3 years. She spent the last 24 years teaching in Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, biking, and going to concerts.

Surviving Stacy Schiltz are her dad and step mom, Bill and Barb Schiltz of Tomahawk; brother, Bill, Jr of Rhinelander; sister, Dawn Schiltz of Colorado and her special friend Richard Masuda of Canada. She is further survived by two nieces, Marie and Alyssa; grandnieces Anessah and Zada; and a grandnephew, Damien. Stacy is preceded in death by her mom, Isabel and a niece Ciera.

The Funeral for Stacy Schiltz will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Julie Sinkula will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Rapids Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grace Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
