Steven E. Bader

Steven “Stevie” E. Bader, 62, a resident of Arbor Vitae, WI, passed away August 30, 2026, at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, WI. He was born September 29, 1963, in Milwaukee, WI, to parents Leonard Sr. and Terese Bader.

Stevie enjoyed his friendships and took pride in his work while working at Headwaters in Rhineland, WI. He also enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, he did both bowling and basketball. He had a passion for country music and loved to listen to and organize his large CD collection He loved playing fetch with his dog and enjoyed many snuggles. He always looked forward to family gatherings and never forgot a birthday. Stevie will always be remembered for his kind and gentle soul.

Stevie was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Leonard Bader; sister: Jean Marie Carmody. He is survived by his sister: Christine (John) Kastner; nephew: Brian Kastner; niece: Ann M. Kastner; great niece: Brook Munn; brother: George Bader; sister-in-law: Cindy Bader; nephew: Matthew (Julie) Bader; great niece: Madelyn Bader; niece: Nicole Bader. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
