Susan Odya

Susan Odya, age 64, 10367 North Road, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. Sue was born June 1, 1950 in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Zillges) Holada. She married Kenneth Odya on July 13, 1980 in Milwaukee; he passed away on February 17, 2006. Sue loved gambling, and Northern Tours trips to Las Vegas. Survivors include: children. Richard Betker, Jr. and Kirt Betker; step children, Lynn Anderson and Jeff Odya; siblings, Patricia Schneider and David Holada. Sue is further survived by several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ken. Special thanks to her friends Barb and Sue. Funeral Services for Sue Odya will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place on Monday, October 6th at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the town of Nokomis.
