Susan Steiner

Susan "Susie" Steiner, age 68, 9809 Hall Drive, Tomahawk, passed away May 31, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. Susie was born June 21, 1938 in Stratford to Henry and Ida (Jeske) Steiner. She was raised in Stratford, and lived in Wausau for many years where she was employed as an accountant until her retirement in 2004. She moved to the Tomahawk area in 1983. She loved all sports and doing crossword puzzles. She had a special love of children - especially for her many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: 2 Brothers Thomas (Jean) Steiner of Wausau Henry (Betty) Steiner of Stratford Adopted Sister Janice Kussrow of Tomahawk Susie is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial for Susie Steiner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2007 from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Stratford.
