Terry J. Hilt

Terry J. Hilt, 70, of Valley Road, Tomahawk, passed away peacefully at home on
Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Terry was born on July 24, 1953 in Tomahawk to Hugh and Anita (Naschke)
Gaedtke. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Hilt on June 10, 1972 also
in Tomahawk. Terry graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1971. She later
would be employed at the Tomahawk School District as a custodian for 33 years
touching thousands of lives. She loved traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri
and going on cruises. Terry loved doing anything outdoors, gardening, jet ski’s ,
boating, snowmobiling, UTV’s, swimming, and campfires. She always had a smile
on her face and adored her family.
Surviving Terry Hilt are her husband, Gary; three children, Nate (Monica) Hilt of
Seattle; Amy Hilt of Menasha; and Tony (Margo) Hilt of Neenah, Wisconsin. She is
further survived by two granddaughters, Lauren and Lexi Hilt. Terry also leaves
behind four siblings, Cheryl (Neil) Whitaker, Gary (Jackie) Gaedtke, Scott (Debbie)
Gaedtke, and Chris Christie. She was preceded in death by her parents and many
other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Terry Hilt will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at
11:00 a.m. from the Northland Bible Church in the town of Nokomis. Pastor Alex
Lindsay will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairie Rapids Cemetery. The family will
receive friends at the Krueger Nimsgern Funeral Home Friday, December 22 nd
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 10 am until
the time of services at 11 at the Northland Bible Church.
