Thomas J. Petzko, age 93, of Lake Tomahawk, WI was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by the family he loves so deeply. Tom was born on July 3, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of John and Margaret Petzkow. Tom was united in marriage with Marilyn DeBoth on October 10, 1959.
Tom “Cheapy” was a true jack of all trades and a master craftsman. He could build, fix, or invent almost anything under the sun. He was known for his relentless work ethic, mechanical genius, and deep love for his family. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service Tom built a career as a highly skilled sheet metal worker. He later retired to the peaceful Northwoods of Wisconsin.
Loving father of Dan (Cory Voss) Petzko, Karen (Keven) Jubeck, Kelly (Craig) Huber, and Sandra (Matt) Magdic. Loving grandfather to Tyler, Kyle (Amanda), Nicole (Marc), Jessica, Jenna, Hannah (Tommy), and Owen. Great grandpa to Sawyer, Cooper, Avery, and Levi. Further survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Beloved brother of Margaret (late Richard) Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Petzkow and his brother John. Tom is now reunited in Eternal peace with his beloved wife of 62 years, Marilyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Military Honor will be held immediately following the church service. Burial will take place at Newbold Cemetery.
