Verna Dohnalik

Verna C. Dohnalik, age 89, of 105 E. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Verna was born on Feb. 14, 1918 in Park Falls, Wisconsin to the late Volney and Mattie Russell. She married Joseph Dohnalik on January 15, 1955 in Park Falls, he passed away in 2001. Verna had been a resident of the Tomahawk area since 1980 and a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include: 1 Daughter, Judith Treadway Wausau 1 Brother, Donald A. (Mary Ann) Furstenberg Minocqua 1 Grandson, Todd Treadway Carol Steam, IL She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 Sisters, Betty Clements, Juanita Carlson and Margaret Hoffman. Funeral Services for Verna Dohnalik will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
