Funeral Director Apprentice & Student

Sarah was born and raised in the Lakeland area. She went to North Lakeland Elementary School and Lakeland Union High School (class of 2022). She attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for one year and is now going to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities to obtain her degree in Mortuary Science. Sarah loves the outdoors and goes running, swimming, kayaking, hiking, and biking any chance she gets. She runs in 5Ks and half-marathons, competes in triathlons, and plays soccer. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Ranger. She attends Boulder Junction Community Church, where she occasionally sings and plays guitar. When not in the Lakeland area, Sarah loves to travel. 



Amy Casey

Amy Casey

Funeral Director

Making history as the first licensed female Funeral Director in Price County, Amy manages and operates the Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home in Phillips, helping her hometown receive personal care during their time of loss. 


Graduating from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2015, she has over 9 years of experience with training in Chicago, IL, Madison, and Eau Claire, WI. Specializing in preplanning and monuments, as well as prefunding as a licensed agent of the Funeral Director Life Insurance Company. Amy can assist you with all of your funeral trust needs. 


In her time off, she enjoys traveling with her son, spending time with her animals, kayaking, four-wheeling, riding motorcycles, challenging herself by learning something new, and filling in for the family business at the Phillips bowling alley.

Megan Drexler

Megan Drexler

Funeral Director Apprentice

Megan was born and raised in the Twin Cities area. In 2013, she moved her family to Phillips to get away from the busy city life. She worked as a CNA for many years before starting her career at Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home in 2021. Meg will be graduating from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in the spring of 2024 to become a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer. She enjoys spending time with her children, hiking, and traveling. She has a passion for helping families plan a unique service to honor the life of their loved one.
