Obituary for Edward Thomas Lenchek

Edward T. Lenchek, 93, died peacefully on May 13th. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia (nee Carr) and the dearest companion of the late Ethel Discher. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Ken) Draeger and son, Thomas (Mary) Lenchek. He was the proud grandfather of Chad (Kate) and Christopher (Erin Kokta) Draeger. He is further survived by his sister Julia Kempka and brothers John (Marlea) and Stan Lenchek. Brother-in-law of Shirley Fraederich, Carol Budish, Dennis (Ingrid) and James (Brenda) Carr. He was dearly loved by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Edward was a proud WWII veteran in the Army Artillery Division, serving in Europe. His pride in his service to his country never will be forgotten. In April 2010, he went on the first Never Forgotten Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. After the war he worked at MATC for 33 years. The Green Bay Packers will miss one of their biggest fans.
