Walter G. "Wally" Grisa Jr., age 65 of Cassian, died on Tuesday, July 18 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Wally was born August 2, 1951 in Cook county Illinois. Wally owned and operated Grisa Mink Farm in Minocqua, WI for over 15 years. He spent several years employed with McArthur Mink Farm. He also worked as a stainless steel machinest and a welder. Most recently he worked as the Manager for Trigs Recycling Center in Minocqua, WI.
Wally was a true man of the Northwoods and a friend to many. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ammunition reloading and having a good laugh with friends. He especially loved taking annual hunting and fishing trips to Canada friends.
Wally is survived by his two children, Mary (Bao) Grisa and Adam (Sherry) Grisa; fiancé, Karen Appleby; and two grandchildren, Ava and Adaline Grisa. Wally is preceded in death by his parents, Walter G. Grisa Sr. and Margie (Lovins) Grisa; wife, Marcia (Klimek) Grisa.
Memorial Gathering for Wally will be held on Friday, July 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, with a Memorial Service at 6 p.m.
